This is the same cloudfield effect used on the Bliss 15 and Bliss 50 Laser Starfield projectors and household Laser Stars version. The patent-pending design was introduced in 2006 using diffractive holographic optical lenses to create the moving Starfield and Cloudfield in the Bliss Light Starfield projectors. White or light colored surfaces disappear when this holographic image is projected onto them.

These projectors have a coverage of about 10' circle when projected on a surface 10' away. You can approximate the coverage by figuring on it being about the same circular diameter as the distance from the projector to the surface. Aiming the projector on an angle to the surface will also extend the shape further into oval shape. These projectors are most effective up to about 40' away and are most impressive in completely dark locations.
