The Galaxy Wand uses two AAA batteries and turns on by holding down the button on the side. Always carry spare batteries so you can replace them during the party/event. To see another type of Laser Wand click here. This Laser Wand has a battery that lasts 8 to 10 hours and it stays on until turned off when you click the end button. This model does not have a movable lens but the patterns are created on both of them by wiggling or waving the wands which project patterns for hundreds of feet.

This class IIIb 50mW Galaxy Wand Red Laser Pointer projects a dazzling array of green laser points in kaleidoscope fashion. Turn the aperture and create your own hand held, portable light show. Even though this red laser projector is higher power than the green version, the beams are not as bright since red is not such a visible color.
