Hawthorne Boulevard Mobility Improvement Project

We are proud to have supplied 66 Laser Starfield projectors in Green, Blue and Red to light up the trees like fireflies in the center median of the Hawthorne Boulevard Mobility Improvement Project. This is just one of the many cities that has used our laser projectors to enhance their parks and celebrations with their magical touch, like homes across the nation for Christmas decorations and year round landscape lighting. These low voltage laser projectors use less than 5 watts so their cost is minimal to operate yet their effect is spectacular.

Residents of Hawthorne will be noticing a mysterious new lighting effect that looks as if Red, Green & Blue fireflies are clustered in the trees along this 1.5 mile section of road. hawthorne blvd photo

The newly landscaped center median in sections like this one are now illuminated with thousands of laser beams to add a beautiful artistic element to this scene.

The City of Hawthorne is unveiling the Hawthorne Boulevard Mobility Improvement Project, complete with special effects lighting. This project was built to enhance traffic circulation along Hawthorne Blvd., as shown on the map below from El Segundo Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue, by enhancing left-turn storage, widening and modifying existing medians and installing bow-outs. The project has also provided a Class II bicycle lane, upgrade pedestrian crossing signals and improve signalization along Hawthorne Blvd.
