The red light stopped working after 2 days, and with full day worth of sun light, it only last 2 hours top.

This is a terrific light projector overall. I think the instructions are missing a note telling the owner that the unit is equipped with a photosensor that turns the beam off when it senses light or sunlight. This can give a new owner the impression that the unit isn't charging when turned on. It can be tested after the initial charge by covering the photovoltaic cell with a hat or something opaque. The photocell will not fully charge the battery unless there is direct sunlight. On a cloudy day, the unit does not project very long at night before the battery dies and needs supplemental charging with the supplied charger for best performance. I was hoping the unit would be completely autonomous but I'm ok with bringing it inside to charge on a cloudy day. I strapped it to a unit paver so it is weighted down in the yard but still easily movable. Shipping to Canada is extremely expensive and more than the unit itself. After paying shipping charges, the unit is not handed over until the owner pays additional "brokerage fees" that should have been included in the astronomical shipping cost to begin with. Shipping costs are becoming unreasonable for Canadians and we have to pay USD (1.30 to 1.35 x CAD) on these costs too! I'm still glad to have it. Christmas lights are dangerous to put up and a crappy job during colder weather. This projector casts a beautiful array of red or green light, or flashing light. It might be an improvement to have both red and green light projected at the same time, possibly with some animation and additional white light.

This simple but beautiful Christmas light comes on promptly each night! Easy to install and eco friendly, as it is powered by the sun. Also this company had wonderful customer service! I highly recommend!
